Schema’s Schemes is built from public-domain characters — outlaws, detectives, monsters, kings. No one needs permission to tell their story. The source is everyone’s. What you make of it is yours.

The device

Author of Record

Each world keeps an Author of Record — the teller who writes Schema’s tale of it. The Record notes who holds the pen. Your stories stay yours; only the public-domain source is held in common.
